approximately we had a 4hrs. trip going to maragondon cavite, then we went at the market to buy our needs.to reach the pico de loro jump off we need to ride a tryk @ php75/pax. or php200/tryk.
at exactly 9:00am we start to hike the rocky and plains of pico de loro, its a major climb so expect the unexpected.after 2hrs. of trekking we reach the first base camp of pico de loro.

At last after 5hrs. of trekking from the first base camp

summer getaway: 5.1-2.10 @ San juan Batangas

Call time is 3:00am @ JAC liner in kamias q.c. but we depart at around quarter to 5:00am because we're so plenty, we're about to occupied 3 jeepney..destination? San juan Batangas,.
after 5hrs. of long road trip we reach the San juan public market. here we buy food and stuff that we need for our camping. after we complete our checklist another 30mns. trip and we reach the beach spot.unfortunately there was a huge crowd so we decided to trek the rocky sea shore to reach the other side of the beach, after an hour of trekking we reach the Naambon beach resort
unexpectedly that resort is owned by a teacher of my friend in grade 5. would you believed that? small world huh!, then we fixed our tent to rest our tired whole body.. then the social begins.....

Its been a great pleasure for us ( team neverest) to join the summer outing of Philippine Outdoor Tribe ( P.O.T ) and ABNG. thank you sir Bimbo (P.O.T) and sir Manny (ABNG) for accommodating us.

Mt. Romelo : Batya-batya and Sampaloc falls

Another falls just a few minutes hike upstream from Buruwisan falls is the Batya-Batya (officially known as Guiling-guiling falls). Its a small one, only about 15-20 feet in height, but just as beautiful as the other falls there. There is a small basin-like depression on top of the falls that is why its called Batya-Batya ("batya" means small tub or basin in Filipino.

The hike to Batya-batya is a bit of a challenge if you are carrying photo equipment. There is a portion in which you may have to swim (the other option is to scale a tree). There is another section where you have to wade chest deep waters. A dry bag for your gears is definitely a must, although for me a couple of garbage bags usually do the trick :).
Another falls, called Sampaloc falls, is also accessible via Batya-batya. You have to swim the pool to the edge of Batya-batya, climb the slippery rock wall and then follow the river upstream.

11.01.09. @ Mt. Romelo

After a long trip from quezon city to siniloan, laguna at last we reach the target zone the MT. ROMELO (also mistakenly known as Mt. Famy).Locals call it the "land of the falls" because of the countless waterfalls you can find there: all within short hiking distance from the camp site. Its a favorite weekend getaway for mountaineers.

After getting off of the bus a 30minute walk will take you to the registration at the green house (all mountaineers should register here for safety purposes) and will cost you P20/pax.

....then the expedition starts, Its just a 2-3 hour hike, depending on the trail conditions and how fit you are.
